Council regulation (EC) No 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings

The Insolvency Regulation (EC) 1346/2000 ("Insolvency Regulation 2000") lays down rules on jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement of judgments and the applicable law governing the insolvency proceedings in the Member States of the EU. It was recast by Regulation 2015/848 ("Insolvency Regulation 2015") and expanded through chapters V (insolvency proceedings of members of a group of companies) and VI (data protection).
